An Acerglyn is a Mead created using Maple Syrup along with honey in the fermentation process.
We fermented our standard raw unpasteurised honey with Maple Syrup, Bay, Indian Assam Tea, and Chai spices (ginger, green cardamom, cinnamon, star anise, fennel, peppercorns and cloves).
The result is a deliciously aromatic mead, amber in colour, light and silky in texture, the sweet woody sap of maple compliments perfectly the combined eastern spices. Deeply mysterious.
Bottled in a dark brown glass pharmacy bottle, engraved cork and hand signed, we add a very personal touch to every bottle.
A perfect accompaniment to a roaring fire, a good book and great company.
